Danielle Sheppard, LCPC

I have worked with children, adolescents, and their families professionally since 2016 and have learned much about how best to be a part of their support system. I believe adamantly in working with families to recognize the whole picture of what's impacting their lives. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a trauma-focused lens. This includes validating personal hardships and working to find ways to mitigate the anxiety, depression, or familial conflict these hardships cause. This often includes working on communication styles, addressing anxiety by listening to it and developing concrete & solution-focused strategies to empower individuals and their families. In my personal life, you'll catch me riding bikes, cuddling cats, or reading board books with my wife and 1-year-old.
